Flutter Scape
At a Glance
Identity and interface design work for Flutterscape – Live the Hunt! an internet upstart sponsored by one of the largest Japanese e-commerce enterprises NetPrice (ネットプライス).
In Detail
Flutterscape is creating a new market platform to sell rare – or not usually available – items on the Japanese market to overseas customers.
The basic concept was that Flutterscape.com will become a sort nest, where all the users (birds) will deposit their unique and interesting items for sale. Therefore the design of this site revolves around birds, nests and eggs. Also the mascot “Flutter-kun” originated from this idea.
We were involved with the development of corporate identity design, illustration, information architecture, UI interface design, web design, HTML/CSS template coding, Javascript (Jquery framework) amongst other things.
The Sales Process on Flutterscape
- To sell on the site one simply need to upload images of items available in Japan.
- Once an item is sold the seller goes back to the shop where he took the photo, buys the item and sends it to Flutterscape.
- Flutterscape deals with all transfer actions, payments and shipping (fulfilment).
