In Detail
Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) is an international campus of one of the United States’ largest research universities—Temple University in Philadelphia—and is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Founded in 1982, TUJ is officially recognized by Japan’s Ministry of Education and offers American bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in Tokyo. TUJ students receive the same credits, degrees and transcripts as students at Main Campus in Philadelphia.
Extensive print production of two undergraduate program brochures with 18 pages for the English, and 44 pages for the Japanese brochure. Additionally the brochures had to be designed for specific target audiences:
- The English brochure, in a more quirky and modern design, is aimed at foreign students interested in a curriculum in Japan.
- The Japanese brochure targeted at domestic Japanese students (and their guardians) features a slightly more traditional design.

The project also involved detailed cover illustrations for both brochures. The concept was to rebuild the T-shaped university logo using flat vector graphics and a photo-based collage.
We further designed a promotional print flyer and provided the illustration for the admission brochure.
Also planning, storyboarding and production of a photos shoot at the Japan campus of Temple University in Tokyo was part of the project.
