New corporate identity design and responsive website for It’s Open, a London/UK based social media strategy consultancy.

Our company’s philosophy is based on the concept of collaborative intelligence. Whether internally or with the world at large, we use the power of social media technologies the way we believe our clients should: to do better work – together.

And we believe we walk the talk: our consultants work collaboratively using web-based applications, across geographies, time zones and areas of expertise to deliver the highest quality consulting and research within social media enterprise solutions.

We are also the founders of the Social Media Leadership Forum, a business network where executives collaborate, learn, share ideas and agree best practice strategies for successfully engaging with social media to improve the performance of their organisations.

Since It’s Open is the parent company of the Social Media Leadership Forum, the new corporate site was created using a slightly similar style. For instance the use of depth with gradients and same corporate font.

Collaboration and working together across time-zone or remotely were other keywords for this company made up of freelance consultants. The About page reflects this approach with easy to add & edit staff profiles and links to their SNS profiles or personal websites.

The site was created as fluid-responsive website and adapts well to most screens between desktop and smartphone size. On touch-screen devices such as smartphones and tablets (incl. iPhone/iPad) a few gestures such a swipe can be used. The smartphone size features an enhanced mobile navigation.

The site was further enhanced to accommodate embed codes of some popular sharing websites for medias such as Videos or Slideshows. Also the embedded media adapts to screen-size with correct media-ratio applied.
